Obama To Make Swing Through Oregon
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama will make a campaign swing through Oregon this week.
A spokesman for the Obama campaign says the Illinois senator will hold rallies at Portland’s Memorial Coliseum on Friday morning and at Eugene’s McArthur Court on Friday night.
Obama will also be in the state on Saturday morning, but his plans have yet to be made public.
Obama collected about $200,000 during a Portland fundraiser and rally in September.
New York Sen. Hillary Clinton has yet to visit Oregon during her presidential campaign.
Ballots for the mail-in primary go out in six weeks. The results are tallied May 20.
