Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture to hold 2020 ArtFest online

SPOKANE, Wash. — With the possibility the ‘Stay Home, Stay Healthy’ initiative could be extended past May 4, the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture altered both of its large May events.

Normally, the MAC hosts two large events each spring; the Mother’s Day tour of homes and ArtFest.

In an email to guests, the MAC announced the cancellation of the 2020 edition of the Mother’s Day tour and the moving of ArtFest online.

All intended participants in the home tour have agreed to participate in 2021.

Meanwhile, the online installment of ArtFest will include a wide variety of pieces slated to be displayed during the outdoor event.

ArtFest 2021 will take place from June 4 to June 6.
