North Idaho police chase ends in arrest

OSBURN, Idaho — A high speed chase down I-90, in North Idaho, ended with police arresting one man.
Around 9:00 p.m. the Osburn Police Dept. went to a call for service at the Osburn Gas Mart. According to the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office, once police got there, the suspect in the vehicle took off.
An officer tried to stop the vehicle, but the pursuit continued onto I-90 eastbound at mile post 58.
A deputy set up spike strips a few miles down the road that stopped the vehicle. Authorities arrested Wilbur Presley Allen for local charges and an escape warrant out of Washington, according to the sheriff’s office.
