North Central HS senior invited to attend State of the Union with Sen. Cantwell

SPOKANE, Wash. — A senior at North Central High School is on his way to Washington D.C. to attend the State of the Union Address.
Senator Maria Cantwell invited Jake Satake as her guest to attend the address on February 4, amid what her press secretary says is the Trump administration’s continued assault on the Affordable Care Act.
Satake was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2015. He has since been a strong advocate for affordable health care and other young adults who have diabetes.
It will be his first trip to Washington D.C., Ben Marvin-Vanderryn, press secretary for Sen. Cantwell said in a release.
