SkyFest is right around the corner

The annual airshow is this weekend. It’s a fun time for all, but you wouldn’t want to ruin the fun by not being prepared in advance. There are new security rules in place. Learn about them here.

Hear from your mayoral candidates

The first mayoral forum, hosted by KYRS and the Spokane Public Library, is tonight. Four of the five candidates will be there to talk about what they hope to achieve as Spokane’s next mayor. Nadine Woodward will be absent this time around due to an already scheduled campaign event.

“How are we going to survive it?”

Local business owners are concerned for their future. Construction along Barker Road in Spokane Valley is putting a damper on business. One bar owner said he’s already having trouble covering payroll.
