MUV Fitness in downtown Spokane closing on November 1

SPOKANE, Wash. — The MUV Fitness location in downtown Spokane is closing at the end of the month.

MUV Fitness spokesperson Jamie Izaks sad they are closing because fewer and fewer people are going to the gym.

Izaks released the following statement on the closure.

MÜV Fitness recently made the difficult decision to close our Downtown Spokane location. It will be closed as of November 1 in that location. Gym management and staff are sad because MÜV Downtown has built so many great relationships here, and the location Downtown holds a special place in everyone’s hearts. With the Downtown workforce dwindling as more work from home, and as retail and restaurants here slow as well, fewer and fewer members are coming into the gym. MÜV is doing everything in its power to ensure it stays in good standing with all of members. The hope is that they’ll stay with MÜV, and visit other area gyms of ours. Regardless, members are able to cancel memberships with no fees or additional payments. And, members can transfer membership to any of the other three gyms in the area.
