Multicare gives $250,000 to local health organizations

SPOKANE, Wash. — Multicare has rewarded $250,000 to 15 local organizations focused on behavioral health, children’s health, dental health and food insecurity.
The money will help provide organizations with care, services and resources for the community.
Organizations that got rewards include Eastern Washington University Dental Hygiene Clinic, Second Harvest Inland Northwest and Vanessa Behan.
“Our Community Partnership Fund is one of the many ways our mission — partnering for healing and a healthy future — is put into action,” Alex Jackson, MultiCare’s senior vice president and chief executive for the Inland Northwest region, said. “These award recipients provide much-needed care and support in the Inland Northwest, elevating our entire community.”
The funds are being awarded through MultiCare’s Community Partnership Fund. The partnership fund has given more than $1.5 million to organizations across the Inland Northwest.
