Motorcyclist hospitalized in Spokane, failed to turn corner while speeding

SPOKANE, Wash. — A motorcyclist was hospitalized on Friday after failing to turn a corner while driving at a high rate of speed.
Dmitriy Blonsky, 19, was driving northbound on SR 291 when he quickly drove in between two cars, not allowing for enough time to turn the corner. His motorcycle left the roadway, coming to a stop in the northbound shoulder, according to Washington State Patrol.
Blonsky was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center and later charged with negligent driving.
