Ozuna is wanted by police

MOSES LAKE, Wash. — The Moses Lake Police Department is searching for a woman accused of breaking into a home and assaulting the person living there, then taking off with their car.

Police say 20-year-old Cassandra Calderon Ozuna was first arrested Sunday for stealing from a local business. During the arrest, police said Ozuna assaulted the officer and spit on him.

She was released by Wednesday.

That afternoon, police say they responded to a house where they were told Ozuna forced her way inside and choked the resident before stealing a car.

Police say the victim suffered minor injuries to their hands from trying to pull a knife that Ozuna was holding away from their neck.

Ozuna is wanted for 2nd degree assault charges, domestic violence and burglary charges, as well as theft of a motor vehicle and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence.

If you know where she might be, police ask that you call MACC dispatch at 509-762-1160.
