Moses Lake man wanted for wife’s murder arrested in Pennsylvania

MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Charles Bergman, who is wanted for his wife’s murder in Lincoln County, has been arrested in New Stanton, Pennsylvania.

A nationwide murder warrant was issued for Bergman on Friday after a body, presumed to be of his wife Theresa Bergman, was found near Sprague.

The U.S. Marshal Service notified the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office that Bergman was taken into custody without incident Friday night.

Bergman and his wife were reported missing earlier this week.

Bergman is charged with first-degree premeditated murder and will await extradition to Washington.
