MOSES LAKE, Wash. — The Moses Lake Dutch Bros raised over $7,000 to support the families of the fallen Kittitas County Sheriff’s deputy and injured Kittitas police officer.
Dutch Bros customers contributed funds through their regular purchases on Friday, March 29. Dutch Bros then donated one dollar from every drink sold that day to the cause.
In total, Dutch Bros Moses Lake donated $7,380 to the funds established for Deputy Ryan Thompson and Officer Benito Chavez.
“We’re so grateful to our customers for coming out to support the families of Deputy Thompson and Officer Chavez,” said owners of Dutch Bros Moses Lake, Darren and Kristen Nelson. “While this tragedy will continue to impact the families, law enforcement and the community, we hope those involved can feel the love we have for them.”
