More Than 30 Dead In Suicide Attack
BAGHDAD (AP) — There’s been a deadly suicide bomb attack Monday on a group of Shiite worshippers in Iraq.
Officials say a female suicide bomber struck as the worshippers gathered near a mosque in Karbala. At least 32 people died, and more than 50 others were hurt.
They were gathered about a half mile from a shrine that is one of the holiest sites for Shiites. It’s about 50 miles south of Baghdad.
A health official says the victims included seven Iranians.
