More snow showers tonight after a day of record-breaking snow – Kris
What we’re tracking
We are tracking more snow showers from Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. 1-4″ of additional snow in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene is possible. Kootenai County is still under a Winter Storm Warning until 10 a.m. Thursday.
Plan your Thursday
It’s going to be a tricky Thursday morning commute with the possibility of more snow showers. Additionally, all of the wet, slushy roads will refreeze overnight. Temperatures will start in the 20s with high temperatures in the lower 30s.
Spokane and Coeur d’Alene forecast
Although the heaviest snow is over, a wintery storm will bring more snow showers to North Idaho and extreme Eastern Washington through Thursday morning. Once temperatures drop below freezing, they will stay below freezing through the 7-day forecast and possibly beyond. Expect mostly dry conditions on Friday, with another round of light snow Friday night into Saturday morning. Beyond that, expect cold conditions with mainly mountain snow.
