Missing Springdale teen found safe in Spokane

SPRINGDALE, Wash. — A missing 12-year-old girl from Springdale was located safely on Division Street by Spokane Police Thursday afternoon.
The Stevens County Sheriff’s Office said Tamia Kay Marcus-Cates was missing from the Marywalker School District Thursday morning.
SCSO believed Marcus-Cates was hitchhiking in the area of Highway 292. SCSO said Marcus-Cates was possibly seen in Deer Park.
SCSO would like to thank the public for their help locating Marcus-Cates.
