Minor League baseball season uncertain; Spokane Indians have not heard official word

The Spokane Indians are waiting to hear whether the minor league baseball season will be canceled in 2020.

SPOKANE, Wash. – As Major League Baseball is searching for a reasonable and safe way to hold their shortened season in 2020, the future of this season the minor leagues became cloudier on Wednesday.

A baseball writer for Lookout Landing, Baseball America, Prospects Live and Operation sports tweeted that the agents representing minor league baseball players told him the minor league season was not going to be played in 2020.

We reached out to the Spokane Indians, and they have not heard anything official on the fate of this season.
