Mill Worker Killed In Laclede Industrial Accident
Laclede, ID — An employee at Riley Creek Lumber’s mill in Laclede was killed in an industrial accident early Tuesday morning.
The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Tuesday they received a call at 7 a.m. there had been an incident at Riley Creek Lumber’s facility in Laclede.
When deputies arrived they found that emergency medical technicians were with a 54-year-old employee of the mill. The employee died at the scene.
Authorities have not identified the victim pending notification of his next of kin. An investigation into the fatal mishap is ongoing.
