Men’s Champion Savors Hoopfest Win
SPOKANE — Another Hoopfest is in the books, and it was another great event. It was capped off by a much deserving win in the men’s Green Mountain Construction.
Lead by the face of Hoopfest, Wade Joseph, and Spokane native Chris Allen, they beat a group of former Whitworth players 20-16 in the title game. This was a championship that was earned by this group. Allen said it was great to win this.
“My family’s all just totally excited, and you know, coming out of North Central, it’s unbelievable,” Allen said. “Played in it every year it’s been here, so it’s just amazing… amazing.”
Just 362 days left to next year. It’s the 20th and it should be a special one.
