SPOKANE, Wash. – Meals on Wheels is hoping to gather more than 300 fans to donate to local seniors as summer approaches.

Temperatures will soon be heating up and seniors will need some relief.

The Summer Fan Drive is an annual event, but each year, the demand gets even greater.

Not only is MOW trying to collect 325 fans, but they also hope to have them delivered before the heat really kicks in.

Those who can donate should drop off a new fan at the MOW Spokane Office. It’s located at 1222 W. 2nd Ave and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Fans can also be purchased through MOW’s Amazon wish list here
