SPOKANE, Wash. — Mayor-elect Nadine Woodward is preparing for her inauguration.

On Monday, Woodward will be sworn in as the 45th mayor of Spokane. Her inauguration will take place at the Pavilion at Riverfront Park at 12 p.m. Monday and will feature performances by the Spokane and Kalispel Tribes, as well as a gospel performance. An inauguration reception is set for 5-7 p.m.

Woodward will be the fourth female mayor in Spokane’s history, following Vicki McNeill, Sheri S. Barnard and Mary Verner.
