Massive Traffic Accident In The UAE Involves Hundreds Of People
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — There has been a massive traffic accident in the United Arab Emirates.
Three people are dead and more than 300 are injured. An official with the Abu Dhabi Police Department says six people are in critical condition and nearly 40 are in serious but stable condition.
The official says more than 60 cars were involved and many burst into flames. He says the accident turned the highway between the United Arab Emirates’ two main cities into an inferno during rush hour, and traffic has been backed up for hours.
Authorities say thick fog and poor visibility caused the crashes.
