Marshawn Lynch, Macklemore join Seattle Kraken investor group

SEATTLE, Wash. — A few Northwest celebrities are taking partial ownership of the Seattle Kraken.
The hockey team announced on social media that former Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and Seattle-based rapper Macklemore are the newest investors of the Seattle Kraken.
To celebrate, Lynch was given the keys to the zamboni, and it’s safe to say he made the most of the moment.

“As a young hyena, I always dreamed of playing on a professional team but owning one is something special,” said Lynch.
The Kraken currently have eight games left before the end of the regular season. Though they might be sitting at the bottom of the Pacific division, it’s still been a resounding 2021-22 season for Seattle’s newest sports team.
