Marshall Water Association investigating possible E. coli contamination
MARSHALL, Wash. — The Marshall Water Association confirmed on Friday that the community once again has running water, but that it may be contaminated with E. Coli.
Crews were able to get a new pump on line Thursday, after the community’s well pump stopped working earlier last week.
That said, the Marshall Water Association said there’s bacteria in the water. Until further notice, crews say the water can only be used for flushing toilets.
The Water Association will run tests to determine when it’s safe for the 100 people in town to use again.
