Mariners Name New Manager

SEATTLE – The Seattle Times is reporting that Don Wakamatsu will be the new manager for the Seattle Mariners.

Wakamatsu was the bench coach for the Oakland Athletics and was one of seven finalists interviewed for the position.

The formal announcement will be made at a news conference on Wednesday.
