Man who reportedly evaded Moscow Police twice taken into custody

SPOKANE, Wash. — A man who managed to evade police twice was taken into custody in Moscow on Wednesday.
According to the Moscow Police Department, Robert Lee Brown was wanted for felony charges including domestic battery and false imprisonment.
At around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, an officer with the Moscow Police Department saw Brown driving a Nissan pickup in the 400 block of north Main Street in Moscow.
Police said, after a short pursuit, Brown was taken into custody for outstanding warrants and on new felony charges for eluding a police officer, aggravated assault, and receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle.
Brown previously led police on two separate chases. In both, police said Brown fled to Washington, where Pullman Police and Washington State University Police got involved.
