Man tries to burn American flag blanket, starts wildfire
EPHRATA, Wash. — A man started a wildfire in Grant County Monday evening after he tried to burn an American flag blanket.
Grant County Fire District 13, along with Ephrata Firefighters, responded to the nearly five acre fire around 6 p.m. near the airport Monday.
Responding units were able to contain the fire. No structures were damaged.
Ephrata Police are investigating the incident.
