Man Stabbed, Beaten In Downtown Alley

SPOKANE — Spokane police are looking for the person or group of people who attacked a man Wednesday night, stabbing him in the back.

Officers found the man lying in the north alley between Lincoln and Monroe. He was bleeding from his head and when medics treated him they discovered he had been stabbed in the back.

The victim did not remember what happened, but believes something might have been stolen from him during the attack.

Witnesses reported a group of men running from the alley around the same time that the victim was attacked.

Police would like anyone with information about this attack to call 242-TIPS.
