Man crashes his bike outdoors, airlifted to safety by Spokane Air Rescue crew
PEND OREILLE CO., Wash. — A Spokane Regional Air Support Crew rescued and airlifted a crashed cyclist northwest of Cusick.
A man crashed his bike in the rugged terrain of Batey-Bould ORV Park on Saturday. Pend Oreille County Fire requested the help of the Air Support Unit, since the man had suffered leg and back injuries, and nightfall was approaching.

Weidauer maintained a tag line while they hoisted the man up and into the helicopter, then he followed shortly after.
The patient was transferred into the care of Pend Oreille Fire and AMR personnel. There is no word yet on his condition.
