Man Convicted For Knocking Down Wal-Mart Greeter

CHEHALIS, Wash. (AP) — A man who knocked down a Wal-Mart greeter was convicted of misdemeanor assault in Chehalis.

The 55-year-old Winlock man, Don Lynch, could face as much as a year in jail when he is sentenced next month, but he has no prior convictions.

Lynch pushed the 75-year-old Wal-Mart employee the day after Thanksgiving in 2006 when he blocked the exit and demanded to see a receipt.
