Man arrested in Moses Lake for suspected trafficking of a 4-year-old

MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Moses Lake Detectives arrested 54-year-old Stephen Hosszu on Thursday afternoon for the suspected trafficking of a 4-year-old child.

Moses Lake Police say Hosszu engaged in conversations on social media where he claimed to have molested a 4 1/2-year-old child several times and offered to meet up with other men so they could molest the child together.

Detectives confirmed that Hosszu does have contact with children the ages he claimed. Detectives also found evidence of conversations Hosszu had with a man in Spokane where they talked about kidnapping, raping, and killing young girls.

Hosszu was arrested without incident in the parking lot of a motel and officers searched his room. More evidence was recovered which will be analyzed in the coming days.

Hosszu was booked on one count of trafficking a minor child, but the investigation in ongoing and additional charges are expected.
