Man arrested for shooting at Q’emiln Park Saturday night, no one injured

POST FALLS, Idaho — Q’emiln Park has reopened following a police investigation near the boat launch Saturday night.
Post Falls Police received several calls around 7:22 p.m. on Saturday reporting shots fired.
Officers arrived to find people running from the park, as well as two damaged vehicles. Authorities say early evidence suggests someone shot several bullets near the park’s ticket booth, and it does not appear anyone was injured in the shooting.
A man was taken into custody for a felony charge of possessing a firearm.
The park has reopened and police say there is no threat to the community.
