SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane’s first Lush store will open at River Park Square mall on Wednesday.

The cosmetics brand, known for their bath bombs and all-natural soaps, will be located in the outdoor shopping center, next to Free People.

The 1,800-square-foot shop with feature a large skincare area and consultation space, highlighting Lush’s bestselling range in the state.

The new shop is outfitted almost entirely with reclaimed wood, ethically sourced in the Pacific Northwest. The walls, fittings and shelving were all once barns or industrial buildings and the reclaimed materials help reduce the company’s environmental footprint.

Lush donates 100 percent of the sales of its Charity Pot lotion to grassroots organizations. Lotion sales from the Spokane shop will go toward several organizations, including Washington Wild, Mosquito Fleet, Friends of the San Juans and 350 Seattle.

“We are so excited to throw open the doors to a brand new store in Spokane,” said Elisa Torres, Lush’s Director of Retail. “Bigger shops, thoughtfully designed with the customer experience in mind, provide more space to demonstrate our ethics, playfully interact with our customers, and present our new and ever growing product range.”

Lush will formally open for business on Wednesday, February 5.
