Loon Lake School District is pushing back the first day of school due to flooding

STEVENS CO., Wash. — The Loon Lake School District announced that the first day of school will be pushed back to Wednedsay, September 4, due to classroom flooding.
According to a pre-recorded message from the district, classes were originally slated to begin on Tuesday.
The message also indicates that any parent-teacher kindergarten meetings scheduled on Tuesday are still happening as planned.
There is no word yet on the cause of the flooding.
