Lookout Mountain In North Idaho Opens New Terrain
COUER D’ALENE, Idaho (AP) — Six new runs down 1,000 vertical feet are now accessible with a new lift at a northern Idaho ski area.
Lookout Pass Ski and Recreation Area opened the North Star Chair on Wednesday amidst excellent powder conditions. Ski areas across the Inland Northwest have been touting excellent ski conditions amidst the flurry of snow systems that have made their way through the area.
Greg Marsh tried out a run called Big Dipper at Lookout and says it’s steep and hard. He says the new terrain adds a whole new dimension to the mountain.
An adult weekend ticket for a full day costs $30 at the ski area.
