Logging truck collides with school bus on Hwy 2 near Deer Park
DEER PARK, Wash. —A logging truck collided with a school bus near Deer Park on Friday, injuring multiple students on board.
Washington State Patrol troopers say the crash happened on Highway 2 at Deer Park-Milan Rd. The logging truck was unable to stop because of slick roads, troopers said, prompting the collision.
Several students on board suffered bumps and bruises, but there were no serious injuries.
Another bus was brought in to take the students home, as well as multiple parents.
