Local public pools are closing for the summer soon

SPOKANE, Wash. — Like it or not, summer is winding to an end.
This means that local aquatic centers and pools are getting ready to close for the season, if they have not already. If you have not gone yet, or are looking to go again, your time is running short!
The Northside and Southside Aquatic Facilities, which are Spokane County pools, closed on August 19.
The following City of Spokane pools will close on Saturday, August 24:
A.M. Cannon Aquatic Center
Comstock Aquatic Center
Hillyard Aquatic Center
Liberty Aquatic Center
Shadle Aquatic Center
Witter Aquatic Center
The Witter Aquatic Center does offer a post-season lap swim schedule for adults. The pool will remain open on weekdays from August 26 – September 13.
