Local ‘Back the Blue’ event to be held Saturday

SPOKANE, Wash. — Back the Blue 509 will be hosting an event on Saturday, May 22, inviting the public to meet officers and learn more about specialty teams.

The Spokane Police Department said specialty teams including K9, TAC bike team, hostage and motors will be there.

It will take place at Cole’s Coffee on N. Pines and will go from 12-2 p.m.
