Life term for man, 24, in Yakima gang killings
YAKIMA, Wash. — A 24-year-old man was sentenced Tuesday in Yakima to spend the rest of his life in prison without parole for the gang killing of two men whose bodies were found in a car in the Yakima River Canyon.
Marco Antonio Gallegos was found guilty last month of aggravated murder for killing Mike Eby and Ryan Pederson in December 2012.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports two men who were charged along with Gallegos pleaded guilty to lesser charges and agreed to testify against him in return for sentences of less than 25 years.
