Leona Hanna Allen
It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Lee was born in Wenatchee, WA to Henry Heminger and Pearl (Heminger) Jacabson. She graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in 1948. She met and married her late husband, James D. Allen, in 1951. They were married for 62 years.
Leona is survived by 5 children, Sherry Donlan (husband Ernie); James (Jimmy); Raymond (wife Shelley); Michael (wife Katrina); and Denise (husband Jamie); eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Lee is finally reunited with her husband, her parents, and her grandparents to walk in peace in Heaven’s arms.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 12, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224. Her casket will be next to her husband’s at 2:30 PM, located at Fairmount Memorial Park Mausoleum, 5200 W Wellesley Ave, Spokane, WA 99205.
