Spokane Valley shooting suspect arrested in Millwood, victim taken to hospital
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Major Crimes Detectives are investigating a shooting at 7th Avenue and Bowdish.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the victim, an adult man, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a shooting; the caller said he left the house, but his friend was there and had gotten shot.
Spokane Valley Fire personnel said that at last check, the victim was still breathing while on his way to the hospital. They also report the suspect was caught in Millwood.
The Sheriff’s Office says there is no known threat to the safety of the public following this incident.
Major Crimes Detectives are investigating.
