La Niña has arrived, and is likely to stay

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has announced that La Niña has arrived, and is likely here to stay throughout the winter. A La Niña winter typically means above average precipitation and colder temperatures.
Love it or hate it, the snow is coming. And with the news of another, La Niña people in the Inland Northwest are bracing for a long, white winter. We know all too well that snow can make for dicey commutes, slippery sidewalks, and no school days.
Our next snow isn’t supposed to hit until the end of next week. But when it does, make sure you, and your car, are ready.
