Kyra Wine’s Mother Released From Jail
ST. MARIES, Idaho – The mother accused in one of the worst cases of child abuse in the Inland Northwest is now out of jail.
Christina Haynes was released from the Benewah County Jail on Wednesday after posting bail. The bail had been reduced from $250,000 to $75,000. Haynes’ grandmother put up her property to help post Haynes’ bail.
As a condition of her release, Haynes is required to live with her parents in Post Falls.
Haynes is accused of severely abusing her daughter, three-year-old Kyra Wine, in June. Wine was found on June 17th with dead flesh on her hands and feet, deep scars on her head and bruises all over her body. Wine is still in satisfactory condition at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
Haynes’ boyfriend, Charlie Smith, is still in the Benewah County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
