Kroger Health giving away more than $5 million in vaccine incentives

PORTLAND, Oreg. — Fred Meyer, as part of Kroger Health, has launched a vaccine incentive in the form of five, $1 million checks, as well as 50 “groceries for a year,” valued at $13,000.
The winner selection has already begun, and the incentive runs until July 10.
Kroger Health’s goal is to get Americans to get the COVID-19 vaccine to better protect communities across America, and to support the national effort to have at least 70% of adults receive their first dose by July 4.
Between June 3 and July 10, one winner will be selected per week for the $1 million prize, and ten winners will be selected per week for the $13,000 “groceries for a year,” which is equivalent to $250 a week for 52 weeks.
“Since day one of this pandemic, Fred Meyer’s most urgent priority has been the health and safety of our associates, customers, and communities,” said Fred Meyer President Dennis Gibson. “Fred Meyer’s #CommunityImmunity Giveaway is designed to inspire more adults to get vaccinated and help the Pacific Northwest recover and move ahead.”
The Kroger Family of Companies will also continue to award a one-time payment of $100 to associates who become fully vaccinated.
As of early June, the Kroger Health’s organization’s pharmacists, nurse practitioners and health technicians have administered more than 4.7 million COVID-19 vaccines, and that number continues to increase daily.
To enter the giveaway you must be 18 years of age or older, and legally reside in the U.S. You can enter online by receiving at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at a Kroger Family Company location or by a Kroger Family Company healthcare professional at an off-site event.
Schedule your vaccine at Kroger.com. To enter the giveaway and view the Official Rules, visit KrogerGiveaway.com.
