Kraken select center Shane Wright with 4th overall pick in the NHL Draft
MONTREAL – With the fourth overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, the Seattle Kraken select Shane Wright out of Kingston in the CHL.
Wright was projected as possibly being the number one overall pick, so Seattle got good value with an offensive weapon in the first round.
The Kraken are looking to improve on their first season in the league that saw them finish in last place in the Pacific Division.
