Harrison woman found safe after spending the night in the woods

HARRISON, Idaho — The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office said a previously missing woman was found around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Sandra Lockhart, 67, went missing on Monday when she walked away from her house on Highway 3 in Harrison. Lockhart, who has dementia, was found by a homeowner near S. Lake Ridge Road.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Lockhart walked up to the home after spending the night in the woods.
“She was confused but not injured, however medical personnel were requested to conduct an evaluation,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
