Kids ingest Nicorette at Florida school

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WPLG) – Seven children have been hospitalized after ingesting Nicorette at their school, Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue Battalion Chief Stephen Gollan said Friday.
WPLG reported the children were rushed from the Jacklyn Academy Private School to Broward Health Medical Center.
Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue later said on Twitter that the children “accidentally ingested” the Nicorette lozenges.
Nicorette is a nicotine replacement product commonly used by smokers to help them quit.
