Keizer man pleads guilty in video spying case
SALEM, Ore. — A Keizer man accused of stalking his stepdaughter and video spying on friends pleaded guilty Tuesday in Marion County Circuit Court to charges of burglary and invasion of privacy.
The Statesman Journal reports the plea by 51-year-old Bryan Duane Tilley was part of an agreement for a sentence of about four years in prison.
The case started in October 2013 when his stepdaughter who was a student at Oregon State University reported to Corvallis police that her social medial accounts had been taken over by a stalker.
The investigation led police to arrest Tilley. Then investigators found he had secretly recorded video of women undressing. Police say he left a hidden camera in the bathrooms and bedrooms of women he knew.
