Juveniles Busted For Airway Heights Robberies
AIRWAY HEIGHTS — Police, acting on a tip, have collared three juveniles for the robbery of an Airway Heights woman’s home last weekend.
The juveniles, who range in age from 14 to 17, were arrested Tuesday after police were given a tip as to who might have robbed Marciela Emerson’s home.
Police executed a search warrant on one of the teens’ home and recovered about 80-percent of what they reportedly stole from Emerson, including Marciela’s late husband’s wedding band.
The suspects have been charged with the two counts of residential burglary for robbing Emerson’s home and another home in the same neighborhood. One of the trio was also charged with possession of stolen property.
