Jury convicts former Hayden teacher of two child sex abuse charges

Hayden elementary teacher arrested for child sexual abuse charges

HAYDEN, Idaho – A former Hayden elementary school teacher has been found guilty of child sex abuse. 

Ronald Stone, 64, was convicted of two counts of lewd conduct with a minor child under 16. 

Stone’s crimes were not connected to his employment at Hayden Meadows Elementary. 

His two victims testified to abuse between the years of 1992 and 2006, at ages between 3 and 15 years old. 

After the jury’s unanimous guilty verdict, a motion was granted to take Stone into custody pending his sentencing on September 15.
