Capitol Police arrested Jane Fonda Friday as she led her weekly climate protest inspired by young Swedish activist Greta Thunberg.

Police took Fonda into custody as she led a demonstration in front of the U.S. Capitol in Washington.

It was part of the 81-year-old actress’ “Fire Drill Fridays.”

Her “Grace and Frankie” co-star Sam Waterston was also arrested.

Capitol police say 17 people were arrested for unlawful demonstrating.

Fonda recently moved to Washington and plans to lead protests every Friday for the rest of the year.

She said she was inspired to do so by 16-year-old Swedish environmental activist Thunberg.

The daughter of Henry Fonda and ex-wife of Ted Turner, Fonda is arguably as well-known for her activism as her acting career and 1980s fitness empire.
