Jackknifed semi cleared from Monroe Street, road reopened

SPOKANE, Wash. — Monroe Street has reopened after tow crews freed a semi truck that jackknifed near Tenth and Monroe.
The Ace Hardware semi jackknifed while trying to pull into the Huckleberry’s parking lot. Spokane Police say that the driver was unfamiliar with the road and underestimated the corner on Tenth Avenue. The front of the truck got stuck on a snow berm in the parking lot.
